SEMAGLUTIDE 15MG-INSTRUCTIONS
Here’s a standard dosing protocol for a 15 mg vial of semaglutide, typically used for weight management or glucose regulation. This assumes the vial contains 15 mg of semaglutide in a specific diluent volume, commonly 5 mL or 10 mL.
Please adjust the calculations based on the exact concentration in your vial.

Reconstitution
1. If the vial is lyophilized (powder form), reconstitute it using bacteriostatic water (BW) according to the vial instructions.
Example: If using 5 mL BW, the concentration will be 3 mg/mL (15 mg ÷ 5 mL).
If using 10 mL BW, the concentration will be 1.5 mg/mL (15 mg ÷ 10 mL).

2. Gently swirl (do not shake) until fully dissolved.
Standard Dosing Protocol
Start low and increase gradually to avoid side effects such as nausea or GI distress.

1. Starting Dose:
0.25 mg once weekly for 4 weeks.
Draw 0.083 mL (if concentration is 3 mg/mL) or 0.167 mL (if concentration is 1.5 mg/mL).

2. Titration to Maintenance Dose:
Week 5–8: Increase to 0.5 mg once weekly.
Draw 0.167 mL (if 3 mg/mL) or 0.333 mL (if 1.5 mg/mL).
Week 9–12: Increase to 1.0 mg once weekly, if tolerated.
Draw 0.333 mL (if 3 mg/mL) or 0.667 mL (if 1.5 mg/mL).

3. Optional High Dose (if clinically indicated and tolerated):
After 12 weeks, you may increase to 1.5–2.0 mg weekly for maximum effect.
1.5 mg: Draw 0.5 mL (if 3 mg/mL) or 1.0 mL (if 1.5 mg/mL).
2.0 mg: Draw 0.667 mL (if 3 mg/mL) or 1.333 mL (if 1.5 mg/mL).

Administration
Subcutaneous injection in the abdomen, thigh, or upper arm. Rotate sites to avoid irritation.
Administer on the same day each week, at any time of day, with or without food.

Key Notes

Monitor for side effects (e.g., nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, or constipation) and adjust the dose as needed.
