Everytime you check your tracking number it saves it in a system. After a certain number of checks it alerts the clerk to contact the US postal inspector for further investigation. DONT CHECK IT MORE THEN ONCE…. Be patient!

It's highly recommended not to check via USPS site as once you make an inquiry it saves your IP address so Informed Delivery is a better way and a great service well worth having and it's easy to set up!

The ONLY time I might check more than once is for something that's NON-AAS such as personal merchandise and usually in that case I'd ask for tracking updates particularly for high-value items.

It’s a good idea to have a VPN on so they can’t track your ip address too.
