I just have to reiterate how good this board and its mods/admin are.
I've seen the mods here stop shit-talking and harassment in its tracks.
We have all asked something someone else has asked. If you have answered it 1000x or it annoys you, just don't reply, unless its information that might harm someone, which again, the mods have done a great job here.
Big rant... ONLY READ IF REALLY BORED!
Some other boards just have a bunch of douchbags that they let treat their members however they like.
This not only hurts a boards reputation, but its really unprofessional, especially when they rely on sponsors.
Forget that its just common board etiquette not to degrade someone that has asked a question that has been asked a million times or even suggest banning someone for it. Yes, really.
I am no stranger to the boards. Yes, I use VPNs and multiple layers of protection. Yes, my handle and avatar certainly are not me or even suggest bodybuilding, fighting, s&c coaching, etc.
The lessons I learned from ORD, that many have forgotten still lead me to be cautious.
I have been on boards since 2002 and even then I was a VET/VIP, but I pulled back as my lifestyle changed or the boards shutdown.
Not once have I ever mentioned that, because while I'm engaged, I'm not heavily engaged or trying to score brownie points.
Seeing these "VIPs" or whatever title on other forums just for posting garbage is funny and sad.
Another thing I see on some boards is a total disregard for safety. I see all their pics, they give their locations in the US proudly, where they hang out, where they work, and some even say what they do openly dropping all that information out there because its no big deal. It takes pissing off the wrong person just once. This puts all in the community at risk.
The people who I have revealed my old handle to seem to remember me. Now that I am back, I see the "Don't you know who I am?" bullshit seems to run ramped.
"I've been working out since I was 15... blah, blah... I've been on juice since 2004... blah, blah, blah... That's why I posted blah blah years ago..." "If you read my post you would know blah, blah, blah"
Incredibly unimpressive if you have been on heavy gear that long.
It almost feels like angry Twitter or social media trolls.
Again, thanks to the mods & admin for keeping the etiquette respectful
