Consistency, hard work, patience. And a sense of humor doesn't hurt.
I've been prepping meals for over 30 years, I wouldn't know how to "function" any other way.
I eat lots of food. Lots. My daughter and I were at Pizza Hut. She wanted a pineapple personal pie. We ate in the car (she likes doing that). As she started to eat, I pulled my lunch bag from the back seat. Inside, 2 meals I take on the go as my food is like oxygen to me. Precious stuff.
So, my daughter goes "Dad, you know how like when the execute people, they ask them what they want for their last meal?" "Sure, honey." She looks at me with a funny little smirk and asks, "Would you ask for chicken and rice?"

Jasmine rice gets blown out in my place. High carb today. 925 gm of rice today alone.

Ive actually changed my schedule today so I can get my meals in and sleep more.
4:30 a.m. wake
5:00 fasted cardio
6;30 meal 1
9:30 meal 2
12:30 p.m. meal 3
3:30 meal 4
6:30 pre workout meal
8:30-9:00 post workout meal
9:30 bed

Rinse repeat.

I have to be honest, meal prepping and dietary compliance has been the most difficult part of the discipline for me. I have found it very difficult to hit protein targets after year of focusing on weight loss because of the intake required now that the newbie gains have subsided, I am finding it absolutely critical that every meal is planned and calculated. Gotta love Sunday afternoons meal prepping and planning.
 
Im all about that basmati or jasmine lol. Meal prep is hard for me as well, i own a pizza shop. Let me tell you its fucking the hardest thing in the world to not just house a whole pie every day. Luckily our grilled chix is on point or id be like bob bit h tits lmao. Thanks for sharing @The Grim Repper
