Where do you lift at?

Thankfully I have a home gym now, but when I am on the road, I try to hit some of the old school gyms I can find. Not as many left as there use to be an get stuck at a planet fitness sometimes (I dread those days) but it happens.

I go to crunch fitness but when I’m off I usually go to mid city fitness, or coliseum gym. Old hard school gym in Bronx closed this year smh

Garage turned into a home gym and my local small-town gym. I got lucky, the guy that opened a gym in my small-town last year has a very strong competitive powerlifting background. So, he knows what he is doing, I help him out at times with covering the gym for him. He's getting ready to expand this year and I've been helping out with what I can. I know my way around some gym equipment, certified barbells and plates for competition, so we've been collaborating on his expansion. The place is going to double in size, and he wants to start holding some informal events, starting with some powerlifting meets, so I'm stoked to have him and his gym in our tiny town.

Home gym for me. Facebook marketplace has been a God send for cheap gym equipment. I highly recommend anyone who works out at home to check Facebook marketplace every once in a while. You would be amazed at what people are selling and you can often talk them down from their already low price in my experience.

Home gym all the way. Takes time to build but once you have one it is there any time you need it.

I go to a small locally owned place but the hours can be weird, especially on the weekends. So if not then there is always the PF.

Started out in the original Powerhouse in Detroit in the late 80's. Now at a local independent gym in central FL

I’ve been training at home the past few years and I love it. I have my big screen TV to play 80’s rock on YouTube or a good action movie while I train. The one thing I miss are the hot women in their yoga pants. What I don’t miss is the fugly women in their yoga pants.

Dude! Your post had me laughing out loud! Uh, yeah, not trying to "body shame" or any BS like that. For real, it makes me happy to see out of shape people in the gym, hell, at least they`re doing something about it, right? But sometimes some really out of shape lady wearing yoga pants is more distracting than the fitness model wearing the same. Walmartians in the gym fuckin` up my concentration... :ROFLMAO:
