Going to run an 8 week 1 vial cycle of Test E, pinning a 1/2cc 1st week, 1cc on week 2, 1.5cc on week 3, 2cc weeks 4 and 5, 1.5cc week 6, 1cc week 7, 1/2cc week 8. Wait 2 weeks after my last Test pin and then begin with the Clomid.

Anyone have any insight into whether I should use Anastrozole on-cycle to prevent gyno or take after? I've read in a couple places that it can suppress a % of gains, but maybe I read that wrong?

Anastrozole may be needed if:
If you notice symptoms of increased estrogen levels, such as swelling, gynaecomastia, high blood pressure or sudden mood swings.
Before starting the course, it is best to have your estradiol (estrogen) levels tested. If the estradiol level is higher, you should take anastrozole.

When should I start taking anastrozole?
If you are prone to gynaecomastia or other estrogen-dependent side effects, you can start taking anastrozole 1–2 weeks after starting the course.
If symptoms of increased estrogen have already occurred, start taking it immediately.

Recommended dosages:
Prophylactic dose:
0.25-0.5 mg of anastrozole every 2–3 days.
For severe symptoms of estrogen side effects:
0.5 mg daily until improvement, then the dose can be reduced to 0.25-0.5 mg every 2–3 days.

During the course or after?
During the course: Anastrozole is used to control estrogen levels throughout the course of testosterone enanthate.
After the course: Anastrozole is usually not needed after the course is discontinued, as testosterone levels decrease and aromatization decreases. However, it is important to test after the course to ensure that estrogen levels are normal.

Testosterone levels.
Estradiol (estrogen) levels.
LH and FSH (to assess the recovery of the hypothalamic-pituitary-testicular axis after the course).

After completing a course of testosterone enanthate, recovery therapy with drugs such as clomid (clomiphene citrate) or tamoxifen may be necessary to normalize your own testosterone production. Anastrozole is not usually used at this stage.
