Yep, my feeling is it's Andrew's thrown to lose at this point. Even coming into this year's Mr O if Samson continues to not find his peak and Derek doesn't show anymore improvement it's Andrew's to win. He has the momentum and like Durro mentions the shape and structure that the majority favor. If Andrew continues to show improvement at this years O and Samson nails his peak, it’s going to be very interesting. We could see a real shake up of the order in placings.
Yes, unfortunately this is his Achilles heel, I don't see him improving it enough to get him a better placing. He just doesn't have the structure and shape the judges want to see.

Brother, you and I are absolutely on the same page. For a Mr O, I feel Derek's conditioning was a terrible example of someone who deserves to have the title of Mr O. That's my personal opinion, but that leads into I feel we're going to see in the near future the more aesthetically appealing athletes get the call out and potential title. I'm a huge Hadi fan, but at this point we know it's going to go downhill for him, but he's doing an incredible job at making it a very slow downhill, which is very admirable. Nick brings the whole package; he just doesn't have the aesthetics the judges want as a representative. Nick is too similar to Derek in the physique arena, minus a couple of attributes. Samson and Andrew just have that aesthetics that overpowers the stage; and the powers to be secretly want a representative that the masses will embrace. The overall masses would love to see another Arnold as king, that's Andrew or Samson, whichever of the two can bring the complete package to the stage will have it.
Yeah, I know, right. He's 350 and has the proper frame to support it. But can he mold and shape that size into a sharp stage presence nobody can deny. We'll see..... Personally, I think he should hire a legitimate coach. I don't think his wife is pulling it off. I'm thinking Chad Nicholls. Let's go guys, throw some coaches out there you think would bring Samson into the O at his top condition to win.
I don’t know bro, his wife got him to where he’s at today and look at Nick Walker. He says he didn’t have a coach for the Arnold and he looked pretty good last night.
Sorry, Durro, I disagree. Milos got Samson where he's at, since his wife took over he really hasn't placed any better. But I'm very open to a different perspective than mine. As for Nick, maybe he's better off coaching himself, that seems to be the case so far. Some can coach themselves, others can't. Justin Compton is a great example of someone who could coach themselve. It's a real dedicated art, only few can pull it off, to coach one's self. I may be off, but my feeling is Samson and his wife as his coach isn't necessarily a good combo if he wants to own the throne, he needs to get the right coach to do so. Just my perspective.
