Before you do anything, get bloodwork done. This will ensure you’re healthy, and give you baseline levels so you may see changes for bloodwork during and after your cycle.
Both dbol and deca can add some strength, size, water, and gyno. I love LOW dose deca for a boost in strength, softens the joints a bit, and let’s me fuck like Superman . Never had an issue with gyno, until recently. I had to drop deca this year and need to sort the estrogen issue. Deca doesn’t aromatize much, but it’s believed to increase the conversion of testosterone and nandrolone may bind with the estrogen receptor as well.
Dbol, I only ran once. I puffed up like a marshmallow running it as a kickstart. I haven’t touched it in years. It aromatizes like crazy so definitely have a serm & ai on standby if gyno pops up.
Var is a different animal. Take if sublingual pre workout and possible a small dose 9-12 hours later. It’s relatively mild, but helps with strength and is primarily used during cutting.
Estrogen is always something to watch for. There is gaining popularity with daily microdosing test to limit estrogen conversion. This will also keep serum test levels as flat as possible, regardless of the ester. Rather than an AI, masteron or primo can be used to help mitigate estrogen issues. Masteron works more so like a serm, primo can reduce estrogen levels. This is where bloodwork (and historical bloodwork) come into play. As you adjust dose, you can tweak levels. Generally, you want as much estrogen as you can tolerate without side effects. This number may be different for everyone. You need to experiment, test blood, and correct as needed to learn your body.
I’m a fan of low test doses for longer periods, blast & cruise. Mast, deca, or primo can be cruised as well. Coming off entirely makes sense in some situations, but when possible, I’d start low, ramp up to blast, and then taper back down. Most of us older guys are on trt so we will be on test forever. Some don’t really blast much anymore, while others do a couple per year. Ultimately, it comes down to how we feel and how our bloodwork looks.
