As you know I had an unexpected appendix removal on Sat and my wife has a scheduled surgery yesterday. I was supposed to be the helping hand around here till she got better but now we are both laid up. Then this happens last night…
Man idk what God has in store for me or what he is trying to work out in my life rn. I got a call at like 6:30pm last night from my daughter that was supposed to be at her friends house in the neighborhood, only a few blocks away having dinner…I get a call that she took my wife’s Audi (without a license-just a permit, and not on our insurance policy) and she took it a few miles down the road to her friends house and they were driving around and she got t-boned and totaled my wife’s Audi. Wtf…seriously man. Thank god she is ok and her friend was ok and the other drivers were ok but both cars were totaled. Idk what god is trying to work out in my life right now but it’s really hard to trust this is his plan.
I’m not telling the wife until today. I will let my daughter tell her what happened after I get the wife home from the hospital. I can’t have her in the hospital all night worrying about our daughter, the car, the finances…etc.
Bro everything just feels like one large mess right now. I’m trying to keep me shit together and not lose it. I’m trying to show my daughter love, and compassion but another part of me wants to lose my shit. I haven’t bc I know it is not worth it and I know she already is hurting and feeling bad enough about the situation. But I will have her explain to her mom what she did so she can take that responsibility to the table. She should have a much healthier respect for driving on the road now I’d say but to my expense unfortunately.
